This interactive timeline explores 20 years of intentional investments, decisions, and collaborations by Helios Education Foundation that contributed to the creation of Education Forward Arizona (EFA), a statewide organization committed to advancing education in Arizona.
EFA emerged as a unifying force that brings together community-driven efforts focused on reaching the Achieve60AZ attainment goal, aligning education with the state’s workforce and economic development goals, and providing direct support to students as they pursue education and training after high school.
Beyond its strategic community investments over 20 years, Helios played a pivotal role in shaping Education Forward Arizona through the collaborative convening of community partners at important junctures—including to galvanize support for the creation of the state’s attainment goal—while also helping develop strategic initiatives and producing timely data and research.
